About the Team: 

The South China Morning Post is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our Enterprise+ division. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role focused on growing our premium business intelligence solutions among C-level executives and senior stakeholders at global institutions.

Purpose of the Position:

You will engage with strategic clients across international markets, positioning SCMP’s Enterprise+ offerings as essential tools for decision-makers navigating today’s geopolitical and economic complexities.

In this role, you will: 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for SCMP’s Enterprise+ solutions in priority global markets
  • Build and manage relationships with C-suite executives, strategy leaders, and senior decision-makers at multinational corporations, financial institutions, and professional services firms
  • Develop a deep understanding of client challenges to deliver tailored, insight-led proposals and solutions
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from pipeline development and prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and product teams to refine our value proposition and co-create collateral for global audiences
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and market shifts to inform account strategy and positioning
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic account management and consultative selling

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within media, research, or financial services
  • Proven success selling to senior stakeholders including C-suite executives across Asia-Pacific, EMEA, or North America
  • Strong familiarity with subscription-based products, corporate intelligence, or membership-driven business models
  • Experience working with or selling into financial institutions, management consultancies, or large multinationals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with a consultative sales mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, International Relations, or related field
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus


Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
